We are purpose-built for small groups, and accommodate up to 20 in our five spacious guest rooms. Family reunions, weekend house parties and girls' and guys' weekends are great ways to experience Rough and Tumble Bush Lodge on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island.

Each of our rooms has beds both downstairs and in our trademark upstairs 'bird's-eye view' lofts, providing separate areas for singles and couples. With our BYO policy, groups can settle in for a couple of days, have no need to drive anywhere, and concentrate on enjoying each other's company.

A reservation of just four doubles (or eight singles, or any combination thereof) ensures exclusive use of the lodge. And groups can choose to self cater, using our well appointed kitchen, or relax and have all meals provided. See our rates for more information.
