We are purpose-built for small groups, and accommodate up to 20 in our five spacious guest rooms. Family reunions, business retreats, and weekend house parties are great ways to experience Rough and Tumble Bush Lodge on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island.

We guarantee that groups have exclusive use of the lodge - no sharing the facilities - the place is yours! Most of our exclusive use groups choose to self-cater, with our fully equipped kitchen a pleasure to prepare meals in. Upon arrival we give you a brief orientation, ensure you are set up with firewood and other essentials, then we get out of your way and allow you to enjoy the surroundings and each others' company.
