To make a booking, just hover your mouse over the date you want, then select. On the second page you can add rooms, dates, and occupants.

This will allow you to book online with a credit or debit card. Should you need to cancel, an administration fee of $20 will be charged in addition to any cancellation fees (see our cancellation policy below). Refunds will be made to your credit card.

Payment Policies

We accept payment by credit card using the above secure booking site or by direct credit from a New Zealand bank account. If you wish to make a reservation and pay by direct credit please contact us directly and we will send you an invoice with bank account information for a 25% deposit to secure your reservation and 75% payable a week prior to arrival.

Cancellations

All accommodation cancellations are subject to a $20 administration fee. In addition, because we are a small business and cancellations affect us significantly, we apply the following strict cancellation policy:

Cancellations within 30 days of arrival date: 25% forfeit of the total booking price.
Cancellations within 7 days of arrival date: 50% forfeit of the total booking price.
Cancellations within 48 hours prior to arrival: 100% forfeit of the total booking price.

Other Ts & Cs
  • We are child friendly (although as we are in a deep bush environment and on a river, adults need to exercise commonsense supervision).
  • No pets are permitted in the lodge or on our surrounding 100 acres; the native birds cannot fend them off.  
  • Inside areas of the lodge and guest rooms are strictly non-smoking; ample outside spaces are available for smoking.
  • Use of our onsite recreational equipment (kayaks) is subject to guests' agreeing to basic safety and care requirements.
